Bathside Blue

"Bathside Blue" is a reproduction of an original watercolor and ink on hotpress paper. This pose is very internal as she holds onto herself, protecting her heart. I imagined her waiting for the water of her bath to become warm, thinking about something outside of her. 

After much exploration and research over the years, I found a method to capture my line work while maintaining the energy and movement I put into each original hand-painted piece. The capture method involves an ultra high-resolution scanning process to provide the same clarity and intensity as my original work. These reproductions are distortion-free, textured, sharp, and most importantly result in work I am confident in and proud of.
