About

STATEMENT

My work exemplifies a Neo-Expressive rendering of the figure and stands as a rebellion against the taboo of the female nude. Through the markings of my lyrical line-work, the viewer witnesses an artful blueprint of a human being; the footprints of her transcription to an art form create the unique designs of her narrative. An initial suggestion of a figure and a lack of realism lure the viewer in, yet the unravelling human likeness creates a familiarity in one's humanness.
