Baby Hand and Foot Casting
I am so excited to finally announce a new custom commission offering: Baby Hand and Foot Casting. This experience is a beautiful way to memorialize and capture a fleeting moment of a growing child.
Like other forms of cast work I do, baby and parent(s) join me in-studio for an in person cast session with skin safe mediums. This experience is a celebration time capsule of the intricate design these young human beings have with which we have the honor to watch grow and develop. Choose any color and frame style you wish as this cast experience is 100% custom from the ground up.
The Casting Experience stems from my own experience casting myself during my pregnancy, when I wanted to capture my body at a very specific time with the closest likeness possible.
The in-person Baby Hand and Foot Casting takes place at my studio in Houston. This is the one hour session, and I will do four casts total (two hands and two feet) for the best result for your finished art piece. I will apply skin-safe mediums to your child's skin during these sessions. Framing consultation is available.
If you live outside of the Houston area, but are interested in casting your child's hands and feet, please email me for more details.
